Political involvement
I’m currently running for both municipal (Jyväskylä) and regional elections (Keski-Suomi) in 2025. I’m a member and a previous Vice Chair of the Green Party in Jyväskylä.
My interest in politics truly sparked during the COVID-19 pandemic, when I found myself watching A-Studio more than ever and became increasingly passionate about public affairs. The leadership of women, especially during Sanna Marin’s government, inspired me, and as the climate crisis and biodiversity loss became more urgent, I felt a deep urge to get involved. I joined the Jyväskylä Greens in 2021, and since then, I’ve been active, working on the 2022 parliamentary election campaign and now supporting our local and regional election efforts as a Green Party staff member.
Professional journey
I bring over 10 years of experience in project management, client relations, and business development. I’ve had the privilege of working in a variety of roles, from coordinating communications and events at the Green League (since 2024), to managing client accounts and teams at Valu Digital (2021–2024).
Before that, I worked as a Project Manager/Concept Designer at Aava & Bang, and spent years in sales and production at T-Media. Through all these experiences, I’ve honed a passion for leading teams, facilitating workshops, and bringing creative ideas to life in a way that makes a real impact.

What drives me politically?
I’m deeply committed to fighting the climate crisis, addressing biodiversity loss, and advocating for equality and feminism. The Green Party has always felt like the natural fit for me because it aligns with my values of defending the welfare state and standing up for those who are vulnerable.
In politics, my main goals are to push for bold climate action and policies that bring us closer to a sustainable future. I also believe we need to shift our focus from just pursuing economic growth to fostering the well-being of all people, with a strong emphasis on prevention and support for those in need..

Main themes and priciples in the upcoming elections?
Jyväskylä municipal elections
- Climate
- Education
- Culture and Sports
My driving Principles:
- Climate change is the greatest challenge of our time, and solving it requires action at every level: internationally, nationally, locally, and individually.
- It is crucial that children and young people grow, learn, and develop in a peaceful environment with a high-quality education system, where adults also thrive.
- The foundation of a thriving and vibrant city lies in a diverse and active cultural sector, along with accessible sports and physical activity opportunities for everyone.
Keski-Suomi Regional elections
- Staff Well-being
- Preventive Services
- Solving the financing model
My driving principles:
- The system must be examined critically and without bias. We should advocate for a model that maximizes well-being for the greatest number of people.
- The well-being of social and healthcare workers is crucial. We must ensure that working conditions, salaries, and operational models enhance the retention and attractiveness of the welfare area.
- We cannot afford to lose any young person or adult from society. Everyone must have the mental and physical resources needed to actively participate in society.

Personal life
At the heart of my well-being is my amazing support network—my family and friends. I’m lucky to have a loving partner, a young child, and my spouse’s two young adult children in our home. We all pitch in to manage the daily hustle, and it’s the little moments—whether it’s family meals, home projects, or spending time with extended family—that keep me grounded. I cherish time with friends, whether that’s around a dinner table, on a weekend getaway, or simply catching up at a café. I’m also passionate about traveling, particularly to explore vibrant cities and breathtaking natural landscapes, though the reality of the climate crisis has made me more mindful about balancing my travel dreams with sustainability.
I didn’t always love sports, but discovering tennis was a game-changer for me. It’s not just about fitness anymore—it’s about the joy of moving and the feeling of progress. Maintaining a balance between work, politics, and personal life is something I prioritize, and I believe it’s essential to hold on to the things that make life truly beautiful: relationships, passions, and the freedom to just enjoy life.
